Igo Library, a branch of the San Antonio Public Library system, serves a diverse and youthful population in the rapidly growing northwest sector of the city. The library system serves 1.8 million residents of Bexar County; Igo serves about 22,000 patrons per month, including new immigrants, young families and students of the nearby University of Texas-San Antonio. Keeping up with the demand caused by growth, while still living within our budget, is a challenge. Recreational activities abound in San Antonio, but our patrons come to us for free, family-friendly programs with a range of activities suited to various ages.
