The Springfield-Greene County Library District serves the 275,000 residents of Greene County, and includes 10 branches, five in the city of Springfield including the Library Station, and one each in the rural cities of Republic, Willard, Strafford, Ash Grove and Fair Grove. We are staffed by 250 full- and part-time employees. The library district is increasingly creating programs to serve the education and enrichment needs of children and adults with developmental disabilities, and adults with aging issues and Alzheimer's disease.
