Marcellus Free Library is located in the Village of Marcellus. We serve a population of approximately 6,500 people in the Marcellus Central School District. Our eco-friendly library has a collection of about 30,000 items for loan. Our building is LEED Silver certified and situated on the bank of a creek, where our property is a Certified Wildlife Habitat featuring a butterfly garden and patio reading area. Our community is nestled amidst farmland and beautiful sweeping hills, however it is somewhat isolated and presents us with the unique opportunity to help our neighbors find fun and educational activities within easy distance of where they live. We are within walking distance of the Marcellus Central Schools, and we are lucky to have many young adults visit our library regularly.
